So I just found out this expression is hereditary, passed down from Auntie Mimi. Apparently, when Mimi was little she would do this expression on command, "do the Bill Cosby.."

Mother and Son Dance

In the midst of feeling sorry for myself having a screaming baby to take care of all day and all night long, day in and day out, with hardly a break, this evening I finally had the notion to turn on some music to bounce around to. I turned on some feel-good Jack Johnson and started to dance around. I caught a glimpse of Maxton and I in a mirror and suddenly had a vision of the mother/son dance at his wedding (fast forward 30 or so years).

Seeing his little arm wrapped around mine brought warmth to my heart, instantly.

Everyone knows Harrison loves water, and he loves taking showers with daddy. Now he also loves to wrap a towel around his waist, along with blow-drying his hair, lotioning his face, brushing his teeth, and putting on deodorant.

It's pretty cute to watch...

Stella and Harrison

We met Stella and Ann at South Coast Plaza yesterday and rode the carousel. What a deal too, only $1 for both of us!

So while Justin and I were attending a memorial, grandma Watson was watching the boys. Harrison was really fussy until grandma let him hold Maxton. These are just the cutest pictures ever!! And I'm sad to have missed the moment...
